In the late 70s, rock-reggae bands The Police, ska revivalists The Specials and vocalist Janet Kay occupied the charts with a remixed two-tone sound.
Influences from ska, reggae and Jamaican rocksteady music arrived on the airways of England and fused with homegrown punk and new wave sounds.
The music references in Ben Sherman’s collections are never far away. Our Two-Tone collection brings together 70s Funk & Soul exploring iconic menswear checks styled up with tailoring and dressed down with hard-wearing workwear pieces layered over roll necks. As we move into Winter, folklore patterns in knitwear create a contemporary look within the menswear edit and heritage outerwear shapes have been updated with fresh fabrications and patterns for the season.
JUMP THE GUN
The Summer season starts with a pop of eagerness, ready to switch it up and leap into something new.
